“Blind Date” is a new tarot game Mandy invented and it is easy, addictive, and makes study group time fun. I had a few reservations about this game until I tried it and it has instantly become one of the most popular new tarot games we have invented. It is based on the British TV show of the same name (if you are in America and remember “The Dating Game” it is like that but at the end they bring the contestants back and see how the date actually went). This game has you become the contestant, the mystery bachelor/bachelorettes and the announcer. You choose their personality based on the card(s) in your hand. Then you immerse yourself into the personality of those cards and act out the game as if you were actually on the game show. This game is seriously funny and educational in ways that strengthen your subconscious to conscious minds communication in real-life tarot readings for clients, your friends and family, and yourself. Tarot card meanings are not a mystery, they just haven’t been taught properly. This is why so many people struggle with what a card means in a tarot reading. That all ends here. Today’s goofy lesson is all about how to know what your cards mean when they come up in practice or an actual spread you are casting for a paying client. To actually understand what your cards are saying to you requires a familiarity with your tarot cards. Each card in your deck has an image on it and inside that image is a message: a visual representation of someone doing something. There is no mystery to it at all. The point of reading tarot cards is to help divine information otherwise inaccessible, and that means that you have to know your tool inside and out, just like a mechanic knows his tools, a surgeon knows her tools, or a psychologist knows the working of the brain. So, we all have to learn, practice, and study. But it doesn’t have to be boring, which is why we have DOZENS of tarot games and exercises to help you get to know your cards intimately. Today’s free lesson is extremely helpful in getting to know the tarot cards in your hand, so that when you are out in the real-world giving readings you can extract much more information than most readers you will ever meet.
